Competencies

* Proven experience conducting socio-economic and policy research with a particular focus on poverty, macroeconomics, and agriculture;
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to draft policy briefs;
* Familiar with Indonesia’s development landscape, understanding of macroeconomic models, poverty, Human Development, and MDGs;

Required Skills and Experience

* Minimum Master’s Degree or equivalent in Economics, Social Sciences or related field;
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a researcher;
* Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages and in handling of web-based management system;
* Fluency in written and spoken English and Indonesian is essential.
