Provides support to the CPR Unit by focusing on information needs of all staff as linked to CPRU Unit activities within the UNDP country office mandate and policies. The IBC will ensure that his/her work informs line managers and that any constraints to his/her mandated activities or agreed outputs are quickly resolved by management direction.
* Innovation and marketing of new approaches.
Keeps abreast of current information management systems and issues and understands best practices and lesson learned in the area of specialization so as to identify risks and opportunities concerning the field of work. The IBC will ensure that all outputs recognize the comparative benefits of existing available systems and approaches.
* Leveraging the resources of national governments and partners/building strategic alliances and partnerships.
Establishes liaison and good working relations with staff from CPRU, UNDP and government/implementing partners as necessary and maintains effective coordination throughout the period of employment. The IBC will fully research the potential needs and status of information storage and access in order to tailor their work to achieve the best possible result for CPRU/UNDP.

Required Skills and Experience
* A Master’s degree in Humanities, Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Librarianship, Accounting or Finance.
* Five years general administrative or database work. Experience of running simple training sessions considered an advantage.
* Good English language skills a must and fluency in oral and written English an advantage. Knowledge of an additional UN Language is desirable. Ability to present orally and write clearly and concisely in English.
* Proficiency in all appropriate current office software applications an advantage. Database design skills a must.
