Required Skills and Experience

Education:

* Master’s Degree or equivalent in Management, International Relations, Social Sciences, Public Administration or another related field.

Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at national or international level in development co-operation; out of which a minimum of four years at international level;
* Proven experience and expertise in governance, community development and participatory planning approaches.
* Experience in decentralized co-operation project modalities.
* Knowledge of the development challenges in South East Asia and specifically Indonesia
* Previous experience with UNDP and decentralized co-operation within multi/bilateral frameworks is an asset.

Language Requirements:

* Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish. Knowledge in Bahasa Indonesia is a strong asset
